Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 cups frozen watermelon chunks Use sweet, ripe watermelon.
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice Fresh lime juice is ideal.
  • to taste optional sweetener (like honey or agave) Adjust according to the sweetness of watermelon.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a blender, combine 4 cups of frozen watermelon chunks and 1 tablespoon of lime juice. Blend on high until the mixture turns smooth and creamy—this should take about 30-45 seconds. Make sure to stop and scrape down the sides as needed.
  2. Taste the mixture! If you think it needs more sweetness, add a drizzle of honey or agave syrup and blend again until smooth.
  3. Pour the beautifully blended watermelon sorbet into a shallow container. Smooth the top with a spatula, cover it, and freeze for about 1-2 hours.
  4. Scoop out servings and enjoy them immediately! If the sorbet becomes too hard, let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes before scooping.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container to prevent freezer burn. Can be prepared days in advance; just let it soften in the fridge before serving. Add fresh mint leaves for a refreshing twist.
