  • 3/4 cup off-the-boil water Perfect for steeping coffee.
  • 2 Tbsp sweetened condensed milk Essential for creamy sweetness.
  • 2 tsp sugar Adjust according to preference.
  • 1 pinch salt Enhances flavor.
  • A lot ice Use large cubes to prevent quick dilution.
  • 2-3 Tbsp evaporated milk Adds creaminess and visual appeal.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing jug, combine Thai coffee powder and 3/4 cup of off-the-boil water. Let steep for about 5 minutes.
  2. While steeping, combine sweetened condensed milk, sugar, and a pinch of salt in a mixing glass.
  3. Strain the steeped coffee into the mixing glass and stir well to dissolve the milk and sugar, adjusting for taste.
  4. Fill a 16 oz serving glass with ice and pour the coffee mixture over it.
  5. Drizzle 2-3 tablespoons of evaporated milk on top and stir gently before enjoying.

Notes

Adjust sweetness and creaminess based on personal preference. For a lower-fat version, consider using almond or oat milk instead of sweetened condensed milk.
