Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
- In a bowl, mix warm water with sugar and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture and stir until it forms a dough.
- Lightly flour your surface and knead the dough for about 8 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover it, and let it rise for 30 minutes in a warm spot until it doubles in size.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Transfer the rolled-out dough to a pizza stone or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cooking
- Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, then sprinkle mozzarella cheese and layer on the pepperoni, bell peppers, and olives.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, let cool for a minute, slice, and serve hot.
Notes
For a crispier crust, bake on a preheated pizza stone. Experiment with toppings based on personal preferences.
