  • 1 can diced tomatoes with green chilies (10 oz) Ro-Tel brand is recommended for a flavorful kick.
  • 1 packet taco seasoning Homemade or a brand like McCormick works perfectly.

Preparation
  1. Start by gathering all your ingredients to ensure a smooth workflow.
  2. Allow your cream cheese to reach room temperature for ease of mixing.
Mix Ingredients
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine sour cream and room temperature cream cheese. Mix until smooth.
Add Cheddar and Onions
  1. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese and diced green onions until well combined.
Incorporate Tomatoes and Seasoning
  1. Gently fold in diced tomatoes (drained) and taco seasoning. Mix until everything is well combined.
Chill & Serve
  1. Transfer the dip into a serving bowl, cover, and chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Serve with tortilla chips or fresh veggies.

Notes

Store leftover dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-5 days. Stir before serving again as it might thicken.
