Preparation
- Layer the sliced potatoes and chopped onions at the bottom of your slow cooker.
- Place the cubed steak on top of the potatoes, spreading them out evenly.
- Sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the beef broth over the mixture.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, sprinkle cheddar cheese on top and cover to melt.
- Serve warm, garnishing with fresh herbs if available.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 4 days or frozen for up to 3 months. Consider adding seasonal veggies or spices for customization.
