Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, pumpkin, egg, oat flour, and flaxseed meal. If using, add the turmeric. Mix well with your hands until fully combined.
- Form 1-inch meatballs using a spoon or cookie scoop, spacing them about an inch apart on the baking sheet.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes, until fully cooked and slightly golden. Check that meatballs reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Allow to cool completely before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week or freeze for up to 3 months.

For a delicious twist, you can add dog-safe herbs or veggies. Ensure all ingredients are safe for dogs before introducing new foods.
