Preparation
- In a bowl, combine the beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch, mixing well. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
Cooking
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook undisturbed for 2 minutes, then stir-fry until browned.
- Remove beef from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add minced garlic and ginger. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add sliced onions and bell peppers, stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until soft but crunchy.
- Return the beef to the pan, pour in beef broth and hoisin sauce. Stir well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Drizzle with sesame oil if using, and serve over jasmine rice.
Notes
