  • 2 ounces Kahlua or other coffee liqueur Kahlua adds richness with a hint of coffee.
  • 2 ounces heavy cream, divided Substitute half-and-half if you're watching calories.

Preparation
  1. In a small dish, combine pumpkin pie spice and granulated sugar. Wet the rims of two lowball glasses with a small amount of water, then roll the rims in the spiced sugar mixture to coat.
  2. Fill each prepared glass with crushed ice.
  3. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the vodka, 1 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice, and Kahlua. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for about 30 seconds until well chilled.
  4. Carefully strain the vodka mixture into the prepared glasses over the crushed ice.
  5. Gently pour 1 ounce of heavy cream over each drink. For a beautiful swirl, use a spoon to stir softly.

Notes
