Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 450 degrees F (232 degrees C).
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and kosher salt.
  3. Pour in the buttermilk and stir until mostly combined; be careful not to overwork the dough.
  4. Gently fold in the drained chopped peaches.
Baking
  1. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  2. Pour the melted butter mixture into an 8x8-inch baking dish, spreading it evenly across the bottom.
  3. Place the dough on top of the butter and gently spread it out to fill the pan's edges.
  4. In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon, and sprinkle over the biscuit dough.
  5. Score the unbaked dough into 9 equal squares (3x3 pattern) with a sharp knife.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the edges are bubbling.
  7. Once removed from the oven, sprinkle the remaining sugar and cinnamon mixture on top.
Serving
