Method
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F) and line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Chop the cauliflower into medium bite-sized florets.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs until well combined.
- In a second bowl, add your choice of breadcrumbs.
- Dip each cauliflower piece into the egg mixture, letting any excess drip off, then coat in the breadcrumb mixture.
Baking
- Place the coated cauliflower on the baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes.
- Turn the trays around halfway through to ensure even cooking.
Glaze Preparation
- In a small saucepan, combine the fresh orange juice, orange zest, tamari, apple cider vinegar, honey (or maple syrup), ground ginger, and garlic powder. Bring to a gentle boil.
- In a small bowl, mix the arrowroot flour with 2 tablespoons of water, and once the sauce is boiling, add it while reducing the heat. Simmer until thickened (about 2-3 minutes).
Final Touch
- Toss the baked cauliflower in the orange sesame glaze until each piece is beautifully coated.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and enjoy immediately.
