Preparation
- In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, combine the cream cheese, butter, and molasses.
- Start mixing on low speed until smooth, about 2-3 minutes, scraping the sides as needed.
- Gradually add confectioners sugar, about 1 cup at a time, beating on low until fully incorporated for about 4-5 minutes.
- Once all sugar is added, increase speed to medium and beat until creamy, about 3-5 minutes.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or add more molasses as desired.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. Can be made a day in advance, just bring to room temperature before using.
