Preparation
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread generously.
- Place bread slices butter-side down on a clean surface and sprinkle half the shredded cheese on the unbuttered side of one slice.
- Scatter blueberries over the cheese and season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Top with the second slice of bread, butter side up, and gently press to compact the sandwich.
Cooking
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- Place the sandwich in the pan and cook until the bottom is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Carefully flip the sandwich and cook the other side until golden brown, for another 3-4 minutes.
- Remove from the pan and let it rest for about a minute before slicing and serving.
Notes
For an extra touch, sprinkle a little cinnamon sugar on the butter before grilling for a sweet twist. Avoid overstuffing your sandwich for a better grilling experience.
