Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a casserole dish, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, garlic powder, grated ginger, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Add the salmon to the dish, turning it a few times to coat it in the glaze. Cover and refrigerate for 20–30 minutes, turning halfway through.
Cooking
- Place the uncovered dish in the oven and bake for 12–20 minutes, depending on the thickness of the salmon fillet and your preferred doneness.
- Halfway through baking, baste the salmon with the pan juices to keep it moist and evenly glazed.
- Once the salmon reaches your desired doneness, remove it from the oven and baste again before serving.
Notes
Serve with steamed rice or quinoa, and pair with a fresh salad or steamed veggies for a complete meal. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
