Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle, about ¼ inch thick.
- Spread marinara sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
- Layer the sliced pepperoni, green bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, and black olives over the cheese.
- Sprinkle garlic powder, dried oregano, and dried basil on top.
- Starting from one longer edge, tightly roll the dough into a log shape.
- Place the stromboli seam side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Brush the top with olive oil.
- Make a few slits on top to allow steam to escape.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden-brown.
- Remove from the oven, cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve warm.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Freeze for 2-3 months, wrapped tightly.
