Ingredients

Cheese Mixture
  • 4 oz goat cheese Opt for a fresh, high-quality brand. Look for one that’s spreadable and creamy.
  • 2 oz cream cheese Adds richness and smoothness. Or, substitute with mascarpone for a more luxe texture!
  • 1 tsp lemon zest Freshly grated for a zingy brightness.
  • 1 tsp chopped fresh chives Adds a lovely touch of onion flavor.
  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper For just the right hint of warmth.
Wrapping and Garnishing
  • 8 slices prosciutto Choose a high-quality, thinly sliced prosciutto.
  • 1 tbsp honey For drizzling on top.
  • 1 handful microgreens Optional garnish for freshness.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, combine goat cheese, cream cheese, lemon zest, chives, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  2. Using a small spoon or melon baller, portion the cheese mixture into eight equal balls, around one inch in diameter, and place on a parchment-lined tray.
Assembly
  1. Wrap each cheese ball with a slice of prosciutto, tucking the ends underneath.
  2. Arrange the wrapped bonbons on a serving plate and drizzle honey over them.
  3. Refrigerate the bonbons for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  4. Top each bonbon with a few microgreens before serving.

Notes

For best flavor, let the bonbons sit at room temperature for 10-15 minutes before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
