  • 4 pieces sandwich buns Ciabatta or whole wheat both work beautifully.
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter Always use unsalted to control the seasoning better.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil A drizzle of premium extra virgin olive oil brings richness.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Freshly minced garlic adds an unparalleled flavor punch.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning This blend is a must for that classic Italian vibe.
  • Salt to taste Salt and black pepper Always season your chicken well for the best flavor.
  • 1/3 cup Caesar dressing Homemade or store-bought, but homemade is recommended.
  • 1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped Crisp and refreshing.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Generously season both sides of the chicken with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Once hot, add the chicken and cook for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until it’s golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  4. In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium-low heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Slice the cooked chicken and toss it in the garlic butter to coat it evenly.
  6. Toast the sandwich buns until they are golden and crispy.
  7. Spread a generous amount of Caesar dressing on the bottom half of each bun, add garlic butter chicken, followed by chopped romaine lettuce, and sprinkle with grated Parmesan.
  8. Top with chopped parsley, place on the top half of the bun, and serve warm.

Notes

For an extra kick, consider adding sliced jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce! Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
