Preparation
- Generously season both sides of the chicken with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- In a skillet over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Once hot, add the chicken and cook for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until it’s golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium-low heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Slice the cooked chicken and toss it in the garlic butter to coat it evenly.
- Toast the sandwich buns until they are golden and crispy.
- Spread a generous amount of Caesar dressing on the bottom half of each bun, add garlic butter chicken, followed by chopped romaine lettuce, and sprinkle with grated Parmesan.
- Top with chopped parsley, place on the top half of the bun, and serve warm.
Notes
For an extra kick, consider adding sliced jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce! Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
