Preparation
- Season the chicken breast generously with Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper on both sides.
- In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook for about 6-8 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Transfer the chicken to a cutting board, let it rest for a few moments, then slice thinly.
- In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Return the sliced chicken to the skillet and toss it in the garlic butter to coat.
- Lightly toast the sandwich buns until golden brown.
- Spread Caesar dressing on the cut sides of each bun. Layer with garlic butter chicken, chopped romaine, and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese. Top with the bun halves.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
Keep any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or on the stovetop to avoid soggy bread.
