  • to taste Fresh or dry parsley

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pour oil on your countertop to prevent the dough from sticking, lay your pizza dough on top and sprinkle with flour.
  3. Using a rolling pin, roll the dough into a rectangle, about ¼ inch thick.
  4. Slice the dough into 23 equal pieces.
  5. Place a cube of cheese inside each piece of dough, seal, and roll into balls.
  6. Arrange the dough balls in a tree shape on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Cover the tray with a cloth and let it rest for 20-30 minutes.
Baking
  1. Whisk the egg with water and brush the top of the tree.
  2. Bake for 20 minutes. If the top isn't golden enough, use the broiler for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Mix butter, minced garlic, and parsley in a bowl and brush this garlic butter over the hot tree after baking.
  4. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers tightly in the fridge for up to three days or freeze for up to a month. You can assemble the tree a day before baking.
