  • 1 cup guacamole Use fresh-made or your favorite store brand.
  • 1 cup sour cream Full-fat sour cream; Greek yogurt can be used as a substitute.
  • 1 cup salsa Choose preferred heat level.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Blend of Mexican cheeses or cheddar.
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes Ripe, juicy tomatoes add crunch.
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives Optional if you're not a fan.
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions Adds a fresh kick.

Preparation
  1. Gather all your ingredients and a 9x13 inch serving dish.
  2. Spread the refried beans evenly across the bottom of the dish.
  3. Layer the creamy guacamole over the refried beans.
  4. Spread the sour cream over the guacamole.
  5. Pour the salsa over the sour cream, creating an even layer.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the salsa.
  7. Scatter chopped tomatoes over the cheese, followed by sliced black olives.
  8. Finish with chopped green onions on top.
  9. Serve with tortilla chips around the dip.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 2-3 days. To maintain guacamole color, add lime juice or cover with plastic wrap.
