  • 1 cup beef broth (low-sodium recommended) Homemade for an extra boost.
  • ¼ cup soy sauce (low-sodium) To keep salt levels in check.
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch To thicken your sauce.

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, whisk together the beef broth, soy sauce, minced garlic, cornstarch, ginger, and a pinch of pepper to create the sauce.
  2. Place the beef strips, sliced onion, and sliced bell peppers into the slow cooker.
  3. Pour the sauce over the top and stir everything gently to ensure even coverage.
Cooking
  1. Set your crockpot to low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  2. When done, the beef should be fork-tender and the aroma incredible.
Serving
  1. Stir everything together once cooking is complete to thicken slightly.
  2. Serve over rice or noodles, garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
