- Get the chicken thighs to room temperature before placing them in the crockpot.
- Grease the crockpot with a good-quality butter or oil for easy cleanup.
Cooking
- Place the chicken thighs at the bottom of your crockpot in a single layer.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, chicken gravy mix, and chicken broth until smooth.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken thighs, ensuring they are all covered.
- Cover the crockpot and set it on low heat for 4-5 hours.
- Check for tenderness; the chicken should easily shred apart.
- Serve shredded or whole, spooning the gravy over the top.
Notes
Feel free to add diced potatoes and carrots halfway through cooking for a complete meal. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to four days or freeze for two to three months.
