  • 3/4 cup homemade apple cider mix Combine cinnamon, cloves, allspice, and nutmeg.

Preparation
  1. Pour 3 quarts (12 cups) of apple juice into the bowl of a slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the 3/4 cup homemade apple cider mix over the juice.
  3. Gently stir the mixture until it’s fully combined.
Cooking
  1. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat for about 2 hours.
  2. The cider is ready when it becomes fragrant and hot, with spices fully dissolved.
Serving
  1. Pour the warm cider into mugs and garnish with optional cinnamon sticks or fresh apple slices.

Notes

If you have leftover cider, store it in the refrigerator for up to a week. For a deeper flavor, let it cook longer on low. Adjust sweetness with a teaspoon of brown sugar or honey if needed.
