Preparation
- Peel the ripe bananas and slice them thinly (about 1/8 inch thick) for maximum crispiness.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cinnamon and sugar. Toss the banana slices in this mixture until evenly coated.
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes to ensure even cooking.
- Lay the banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Ensure they are not overlapping.
Cooking
- Air fry for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
- Once golden brown, remove the chips from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes. They will become crispier as they cool.
Notes
For a healthier version, swap refined sugar with monk fruit sweetener and add seeds like chia or flaxseeds.
