  • 4 pieces chicken fillets (about 1.5 lbs or 680 g) Look for high-quality, organic chicken for the best flavor.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic makes a significant difference.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Use full-fat cream for an ultra-luxurious sauce.
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Opt for fresh Parmesan rather than pre-grated.
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste) Spice it up to your liking!
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Extra virgin olive oil adds depth to the dish.
  • Salt and pepper, to taste Essential for enhancing flavors.
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish) Adds freshness and color.
  • 1 bag fries (frozen or homemade, about 32 oz or 900 g) Sweet potato fries are an excellent alternative.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Prepare frozen fries according to package instructions, or if homemade, they will need about 30–35 minutes of roasting time.
  2. In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Season 4 chicken fillets with salt and pepper.
Cooking
  1. Add the chicken fillets to the skillet and cook for 6–7 minutes per side until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, reduce heat slightly and add minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, then pour in the heavy cream, stirring as it comes to a simmer.
  3. Add in the grated Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes. Stir together and let it simmer for about 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Return chicken fillets to the skillet, spoon the creamy sauce over each one, and let it simmer for an additional 2–3 minutes to reheat the chicken.
Serving
  1. Serve your Chicken Fillet in Spicy Creamy Garlic Parmesan Sauce over fries, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days. Reheat gently in a skillet with a splash of cream. You can also cook the chicken and make the sauce ahead of time.
