Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a small bowl, mix together the shredded chicken, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Toss well to combine.
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place two slices of bread, butter side down, on a baking sheet.
- Divide the chicken mixture evenly on top of the bread slices.
- Layer the sliced avocado on top of the chicken.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the avocado.
- Top each sandwich with the remaining slices of bread, butter side up.
Cooking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is toasted.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
- Cut each sandwich in half for easier enjoyment and serve warm.
Notes
These sandwiches are best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
