  • 8 oz High-quality organic penne pasta For the best texture.
  • 3 cups Shredded rotisserie chicken A great time-saver.
  • 1 cup Alfredo sauce Store-bought or homemade.
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese For topping.
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan cheese For topping.
  • Salt and pepper To taste
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil For greasing the baking dish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Boil the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Mixing
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, Alfredo sauce, penne, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Season with salt and pepper.
Baking
  1. Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
  2. Pour the pasta mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  3. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan over the top.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  5. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For added nutrition, incorporate sautéed spinach or broccoli. You can also use whole-grain pasta for extra fiber. This dish can be made in advance and refrigerated until ready to bake.
