Mixing
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, Alfredo sauce, penne, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Season with salt and pepper.
Baking
- Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
- Pour the pasta mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan over the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For added nutrition, incorporate sautéed spinach or broccoli. You can also use whole-grain pasta for extra fiber. This dish can be made in advance and refrigerated until ready to bake.
