Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Grease a 9-inch pie dish with butter or cooking spray.
- In a medium bowl, mix the blackberries, sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice and let sit for 10 minutes.
- In another bowl, mix the flour, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt until crumbly.
Assembling
- Press half the crumble mixture into the bottom of the greased pie dish.
- Pour the blackberry filling over the crust.
- Sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture on top.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes.
- Let the pie cool for 15 to 20 minutes before slicing.
Notes
For added flavor, consider adding a teaspoon of vanilla extract to the filling. Avoid overcrowding the pie dish for even cooking.
