  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened Use high-quality organic butter for the best flavor.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic is preferred, but garlic powder can be used in a pinch.
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Opt for a freshly grated variety for creamier melted texture.
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped Fresh herbs elevate the dish; dried parsley can be used if necessary.
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt Enhances all flavors.
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper Adds depth.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil High-quality extra virgin olive oil enhances flavor.

  2. Slice the French bread diagonally into 1-inch thick pieces, keeping the base intact.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Stir until creamy.
  4. Spread the garlic-Parmesan mixture between each slice of bread. Brush the top with olive oil.
