  • 4 tablespoons butter, softened Opt for unsalted butter for better control over seasoning.
  • 1 clove garlic, minced Fresh garlic makes a world of difference in flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons fresh herbs, chopped I love using a mix of parsley and basil, but feel free to experiment!
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce Great for adding depth of flavor.
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried garlic powder Gives an extra punch!
  • to taste Salt & pepper Salt brings everything together; use cracked black pepper for a bit of spice.
For the Steak
  • 1 piece bone-in ribeye steak (2 pounds) Treat yourself to a high-quality piece of steak—it’s worth it.
  • to taste Sea salt and cracked black pepper for seasoning Use generously for best flavor.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat Air Fryer: Heat your air fryer to 400°F for 5 minutes.
  2. Make the Garlic Herb Butter: In a bowl, mash the softened butter using a fork. Add minced garlic, chopped herbs, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mash until well combined. Optionally roll the butter into a log using plastic wrap and refrigerate.
  3. Prepare the Steak: Pat the ribeye dry with paper towels to ensure a beautiful crust. Generously season both sides with sea salt and cracked black pepper.
Cooking
  1. Place the steak in the preheated air fryer basket. Cook at 400°F for 10 minutes. Halfway through, check the internal temperature aiming for about 130°F for medium-rare. If needed, increase the temperature to 425°F and cook for an additional 1 to 5 minutes.
  2. Once done, remove the steak from the air fryer and let it rest on a cutting board or warmed plate for 3-5 minutes.
Serving
  1. Slice and enjoy your perfectly cooked steak, topped with garlic herb butter.

Notes

Always let the steak rest before cutting to keep the juices locked in. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer to retain juiciness.
