Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound radishes (stemmed, trimmed & halved; about 3 cups) Choose fresh, firm radishes for the best texture.
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (extra virgin for a rich flavor) Allow to come to room temperature for easier mixing.
  • 1/2 tsp salt To taste; feel free to adjust.
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder Adds a savory kick.
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder For depth.
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper Freshly ground if possible.
  • 1 tbsp parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by trimming off the stem and root ends of each radish and slice them in half. This step is crucial to ensure even cooking.
  2. Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Preheating is essential because it helps achieve that perfect crispiness.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the halved radishes with olive oil, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Make sure each piece is coated evenly.
  4. Place the seasoned radishes in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding; if necessary, cook in batches.
Cooking
  1. Cook for 15-18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking. The radishes should be tender and slightly caramelized when done.
Serving
  1. Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley and serve hot. Enjoy the delightful melt-in-your-mouth goodness!

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Reheat in the air fryer for about 5 minutes to restore crispiness.
