  • 1/4 cup brown sugar Helps caramelize the meat.
  • 1/4 cup smoked paprika Opt for high-quality sweet smoked paprika.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Fresh garlic can be used for a bolder taste.
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt Better texture and flavor distribution than table salt.
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper Freshly cracked for sharper taste.

Preparation
  1. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Remove the silver skin from the pork tenderloin.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, kosher salt, and black pepper.
  4. Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over the entire surface of the pork tenderloin.
  5. Place the seasoned tenderloin into the preheated air fryer and cook at 400°F for about 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. Aim for an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  7. Allow the pork tenderloin to rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For an extra crispy exterior, consider searing the tenderloin either before or after cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
