- In a small bowl, combine the smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to create the seasoning mix.
- Generously sprinkle the seasoning mix over the ribs, rubbing it into all sides.
- Spray the air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray and preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes.
- Carefully place the seasoned ribs in a single layer in the air fryer basket, avoiding overcrowding.
Cooking
- Cook the ribs for about 20 minutes, turning them halfway through for even cooking.
- After 20 minutes, brush on your barbecue sauce and cook for an additional 2 minutes to caramelize.
- Check internal temperature; it should reach 145°F (63°C) for safety.
- Plate the ribs and serve with extra barbecue sauce on the side.
