Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 ears ears of corn, shucked thoroughly Look for bright yellow kernels with fresh green husks for the best flavor!
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Extra virgin olive oil adds a lovely richness, but feel free to use canola oil if you prefer.
  • to taste Salt I recommend starting with a small pinch and adjusting as needed.
  • to taste Ground black pepper Freshly ground offers the best flavor—trust me!
  • 2 tablespoons butter, at room temperature Using room temperature butter means it spreads easily and melts beautifully on the hot corn.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to the hottest setting for about 5 minutes to ensure nice charring.
  2. Wash the shucked corn thoroughly and pat each ear dry with a paper towel.
  3. Brush each ear with olive oil, ensuring to coat all sides. Sprinkle with salt and ground black pepper to taste.
Cooking
  1. Place the seasoned corn in the hot air fryer basket. Air fry at 400°F for 7 minutes.
  2. After 7 minutes, flip each ear and continue to air fry for another 7-10 minutes, keeping an eye on them during the last 5 minutes for a beautiful char.
Serving
  1. Remove the corn from the air fryer and transfer it to a serving platter. Immediately brush melted butter over the corn.
  2. Finish with a sprinkle of freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color and freshness!

Notes

Check on the corn frequently during the last 5 minutes to avoid overcooking. For a spicier flavor, consider extending cooking time slightly or adding chili powder to the seasoning.
