Preparation
- Preheat the Air Fryer to 380°F and let it preheat for about 5 minutes.
- Pat each chicken thigh dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- In a mixing bowl, drizzle chicken thighs with olive oil and toss to coat.
- In a small bowl, mix together ground paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, brown sugar, salt, and black pepper.
- Sprinkle the seasoning blend evenly over the chicken thighs, rubbing it into the skin and crevices.
Cooking
- Place the chicken thighs in the air fryer basket, skin side up.
- Cook at 380°F for 10 minutes, flip, then cook for another 8 minutes.
- Flip skin side up again, increase the temperature to 400°F, and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F using a meat thermometer.
Serving
- Plate the chicken thighs immediately and serve.
Notes
For leftover storage, keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer to regain crispiness. Marinate overnight for deeper flavor.
