Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 cups broccoli florets (about 10-12 ounces): Fresher is better – look for bright green florets without yellowing tips.
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese (or more to taste): For a cheesy kick, feel free to go overboard.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil A quality extra virgin olive oil enhances the flavor.
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder This gives the broccoli an aromatic kick. Fresh garlic can also be used.
  • Salt & ground black pepper (to taste): Don’t rush this step – season well for maximum flavor!

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer: Set it to its hottest setting for about 5 minutes while you prep your broccoli.
Seasoning
  1. In a large bowl, add the broccoli florets and drizzle in the olive oil. Toss to coat evenly.
  2. Sprinkle the garlic powder, parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper over the broccoli. Toss again until every floret is coated.
Cooking
  1. Carefully place the seasoned florets in the hot air fryer basket in a single layer.
  2. Air fry at 375°F for 7-8 minutes, shaking the basket midway for even cooking.
Final Touch
  1. Once the florets reach desired doneness, take them out and serve hot, garnished with additional parmesan if desired.

Notes

Make sure your broccoli is washed and dried thoroughly before seasoning. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
