Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and let it preheat for 5 minutes.
  2. Rinse your asparagus under cool water and gently pat them dry. Trim off the tough ends (about 1-2 inches).
Seasoning
  1. In a mixing bowl, toss the asparagus with olive oil, salt, and black pepper to taste. Add a pinch of garlic powder or crushed red pepper for extra flavor, if desired.
  2. Sprinkle in Parmesan cheese and toss again until well coated.
Cooking
  1. Carefully place the seasoned asparagus in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are spread out evenly.
  2. Air fry the asparagus for 6-9 minutes, shaking halfway through for even cooking. Adjust cooking time based on thickness.
