Seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1 tsp black pepper Use freshly ground for best flavor.
  • 1 tsp paprika Smoked paprika adds depth.

Preparation
  1. Heat your skillet: In a large skillet, heat 2 tbsp of oil over medium heat until it shimmers.
  2. Sauté the onion: Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Brown the beef: Toss in the diced beef, and cook until browned, roughly 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add bell peppers: Add the sliced bell peppers and continue to cook for another 5 minutes, stirring until tender.
  5. Season to perfection: Sprinkle in the salt, black pepper, and paprika, then stir well to combine.
  6. Serve hot: Transfer everything to a warm plate, garnish with fresh herbs if desired, and serve.
